| Over the years, machine tools
and industrial machines have become multifunctional
and faster, and in order to improve the performance
of the sliding portion seals used on steel plate
covers, we have developed special wipers called
lip seals. The ability of these seals to stick
close to the sliding bed is second to none, and
they are also extremely effective at scraping. |

| ■Unsurpassed seal function |
| Even if the sliding bed metal
plate has some curvature, these seals maintain
complete contact and do not miss even the
smallest shavings. Also, there is no coolant
leakage, which prevents conduction and protects
your electrical system. |

| ■Long-lasting stable seal |
| With conventional seals, because
the rubber blade is cut and attached to the
steel plate, it sometimes curls or does not
maintain complete contact with the sliding
bed, so some shavings, etc. are missed. With
lip seals, this situation is improved dramatically.
Due to the effectiveness of this breakthrough
design, our lip seals are able to provide
long-lasting, stable performance. |

| ■Superior resistance to oil and
abrasion |
| These seals utilize synthetic
rubber that is highly resistant to oil and
abrasion. The rubber lip portion is long-lasting
and maintains constant pressure on the metal
surface of the sliding bed. |

| Shape and dimensions |
| When the LP-10 is attached, dimension
b is small, so it is appropriate for situations in which
the thrusting distance is no greater than 1.0 mm. The
dimension of b for the LP-25 is 25 mm, so it is appropriate
for thrusting distances of up to 2 mm. |

| The reinforcing plate LP-22ST makes use
of vulcanized bonding, so it can be affixed as it is
without a backing plate. The thrusting distances is large
(up to 3 mm). |

| ■2-layer construction creates
a breakthrough in seal design |
| The main body of the seal
is made of synthetic rubber that is highly
resistant to oil and backlash. Because the
scraping lip is made of 2 layers, with 0.1
t spring steel affixed to it, even if the
sliding bed metal plate has some curvature,
this seal maintains complete contact and
does not miss even the smallest shavings.
This seal is appropriate for the sliding
portion of steel covers, especially for high-speed
aluminum tooling. |

| ■Shape and dimensions |
| We offer two types with varying
attachment sizes. The standard thrusting
distance for both types is 3 mm, with the
largest possible being 6 mm. |

| The 2-layer construction means
that changes in thrusting distance due to
fluctuations in stress are extremely minimal,
and they have a superior ability to stick
close to the sliding bed. In addition, they
do not put undue force on the sliding cover,
