Nitta Gyro Joint
The NITTA Gyro Joint is a revolutionary product that substantially increases
the DoF of robots holding servo guns and dramatically improves their flexibility
of movement. It eliminates the complexities associated with piping and wiring,
and supports an uninterrupted, two-way flow of electricity and supply fluid,
without the limitations of cables and hoses. A NITTA Gyro Joint enables shorter
production cycles and improved production line availability by eliminating
a common cause of production line stoppages: disconnected cables and hoses.
When used with a spot welding robot in an automobile production line, a NITTA
Gyro Joint enables the robot to be taught offline; something that was once
regarded as impossible. |

| Through its slim design, which
takes into account the wrist circumference
of spot welding robots, we eliminated the
interference region for 5-axis operation,
and reduced the turning radius. We also employed
an original multiwire for the signaling system,
to enhance reliability and increase durability.
