Nitta Gyro Change
Modules for the highly rated NITTA Tool Changer
and OMEGA IV can be used as they are in
the Gyro Change. Even existing processes
that use OMEGA IV can be upgraded to Gyro
Change without any significant reorganization
of tool-side equipment. By combining components,
Gyro Change can be applied to various types
of systems, such as Air Gun and Servo Gun
systems. It can also be expanded up to
6 fluid ports, to handle not only gun-to-gun
changes, but also changes between gun and
material handling. In other words, Gyro
Change represents the next-generation version
of OMEGA IV. |
 |
| Features and benefits: |
| - |
The NITTA
Gyro Change compactly integrates the
robot-side units of the highly regarded
OMEGA IV with swivel joint functions,
thus enabling the construction of robot
systems having far greater flexibility
than ever before. |
| - |
When introducing
a new robot facility it is not necessary
to purchase both an automatic tool
changer (ATC) and a Gyro Joint. This
represents an enormous cost advantage
compared to the case of purchasing
both. Gyro Change is thin and lightweight
too. Furthermore, current OMEGA IV
users only need to replace their robot-side
units; there is no need to replace
tool-side units. |
| - |
In addition,
Gyro Change is capable of handling
servo-type spot welding guns, which
have become very widely used in recent
years. And with a generous load capacity
of 200 kg, it can be applied to a broad
range of robot welding systems. |
| - |
The ability
to expand the number of fluid ports
to 6 enables the Gyro Change to cope
not only with gun-to-gun changes, but
also with gun to material handling
changes. |
